Welcome back to the Sounds Like Texas newsletter. We've taken a long break but have lots of great new Texas Music to let you know about.

This edition of the Sounds Like Texas newsletter sponsored by New West Records, who brings us Delbert McClinton's newest release, Nothing Personal - a brand-new batch of all original songs, a first since his 1975 ground breaking "Victim Of Life's Circumstances".  Featuring more of his trademark Texas-style blues/soul/country/rock, it boasts vocal support from Iris DeMent and Bekka Bramlett (daughter of Delaney and Bonnie) as well as the impeccable production credits of Gary Nicholson

Weekly Review - Delbert McClinton's Nothing Personal

A Must Have
Back in the eighties, Austin was home to an entertainment publication called Third Coast Magazine.   They labeled Delbert McClinton "the world's greatest white, R&B Rock & Roller."   Fans of Van Morrison may take exception to that, but Delbert is certainly worthy of the crown.  Delbert's first all new record in three years, "Nothing Personal", supports that lofty moniker.  It's due out March 6th on New West Records.
