Being able to take Texas soul to all points of the globe is a rare asset. Sir Doug Sahm had it. Unfortunately for all fans of his wonderful multi-blend music, we have to speak of him physically in the past tense. Sir Doug passed away on November 18 in Taos, NM at age 58.
